Three girls and one boy! We named them Aurora, Skye, Nova, and Polar. They are all doing great and will start their puppy vaccines soon. They will be ready for adoption on July 27th.

Polar is the only male in the litter. He is also the only one with a blue eye. His dad, Koda, also has one blue eye. Polar is currently the biggest puppy in the litter. He is very playful and likes to follow me.

Aurora is a female and is currently very similar is size to her sister Skye. Aurora is definitely energetic and a happy puppy. She loves to play and be adventurous. She is a very beautiful dog.

Skye is a female. She is lighter colored than her siblings, therefore resembling her mom, Kita. Skye's personality seems docile and she is such a sweetheart. Skye also plays independent from her siblings at times and seems to be happy to do her own thing.

Nova is a female and is the smallest of the litter. However, she has lots of spunk! She has darker coloring and a more full mask, similar to her dad, Koda. Nova will probably be smaller like her mom, Kita. She likes to play and wrestle with her siblings.

These puppies are 3/4 Alaskan Klee Kai and 1/4 American Eskimo breeds.
The puppies are exploring a little! (3 1/2 weeks old)
With Kita nearby, the puppies are having fun outside. (3 1/2 weeks old)
A nice summer day for some family play time! (almost 7 weeks old)

We named them Dozer, Peppy, and Zena! They all had individual personalities and were good with training. We were happy to give them their first home until they found their furever families! It's been great hearing about what wonderful dogs they've become.

Kita is a female and is in the lower weight of the range for her breeds. She is half American Eskimo and half Alaskan Klee Kai. Both of the miniature sizes. She is very loving, smart, and can run very fast. She is so sweet and makes a great companion dog! I purchased Kita in February 2023.

Koda is a male and is about 25 lbs. He is a purebred miniature Alaskan Klee Kai. He likes people and often stays at my side as I do chores each day. He likes to be held and petted. His eyes are beautiful and unique with one being blue and one brown. Koda is friendly and makes a great companion dog! I purchased Koda in June 2023.

This breed was developed in Alaska in the 1970s. Alaskan Klee Kai are still considered a rare breed. They are a companion dog available in three sizes; standard, miniature, and toy. I own and work with the miniature size, which are typically around 15 pounds.
More information:

This breed originated in Germany and is a member of the Spitz family. They are alert and friendly. They make great companion dogs for families, as they are good with children. The miniature size grows to be 10-20 pounds. "Eskies" are very intelligent and are known for being one of the most trainable of all breeds.

Kita and Koda are great pets and I enjoy raising them, training them, and spending time with them. I've had dogs my entire life. Farm dogs, dogs from the Humane Society, all different breeds. Alaskan Klee Kai dogs have become my favorite breed. I believe they make a perfect companion dog that can be enjoyed in so many ways! They have been great around kids, with other animals, and they do well in our MN cold weather.
